SILICONE SEALING

It is possible for any glazing system to develop a leak in the years following installation, with the cause likely to be through degradation of silicone sealants. Rooflight Electrical Services we can provide a leak investigation and replacement service to identify and cure the affected areas whilst minimising the disturbance to the occupants in the building. Our team of on-site applicators are fully trained to work at heights and therefore all leak issues, regardless of nature, can be remedied efficiently and at a competitive cost.

Your silicone sealant replacement will be carried out by one of our professional and trained applicators. Prior to any works being carried out a detailed Risk Assessment and Method Statement will be produced and submitted to you.

The sealants we use are a premium, one-part silicone sealant providing excellent adhesion without the need for a primer. Specified in the glazing industry and used by numerous other trades for high quality weathersealing, the sealant is resistant to ozone, UV radiation & temperature variations. The silicone cures quickly and is tack free two hours after application.
