Our Story
Founded in 2013 by Director Chris Langford, we are one of the UK’s leading specialists in the maintenance, refurbishment and upgrading of electrically operated rooflight systems.
Chris has worked within the rooflight industry since 2003, building extensive knowledge of rooflight design, manufacture, installation and maintenance. Alongside the maintenance business, he successfully owned and operated a bespoke rooflight manufacturing company until 2022. This unique combination of manufacturing and maintenance expertise provides an unrivalled understanding of rooflight systems throughout their entire lifecycle.
Unlike many maintenance contractors, our background in rooflight manufacturing enables us to understand not only how rooflights operate, but also how they were originally engineered and assembled. This depth of knowledge allows us to diagnose faults accurately, recommend the most effective long-term solutions and, wherever possible, extend the life of existing systems rather than recommending unnecessary replacement. It is this practical expertise that distinguishes us within the industry.
Today, our sole focus is the maintenance, repair, refurbishment and performance enhancement of rooflight systems. Professionally applied solar control films reduce heat gain and glare, improve occupant comfort, lower air conditioning costs and reduce a building’s carbon footprint, providing an economical alternative to replacing existing glazing.
Where enhanced thermal performance is required, or glazing has reached the end of its service life, we also supply and install high-performance solar reflective glass. These glazing upgrades allow clients to significantly improve the efficiency of existing rooflight systems without the disruption and expense of complete rooflight replacement.
